Emma Todey Honored as 2019 Recipient of Ames T & C Kiwanis Exemplary Community Volunteer Service Award

Emma Todey, left, receives a $1000,00 scholarship check and is recognized with the 2019 Ames Town and Country Exemplary Community Volunteer Service Award for her service to the Ames High School Key Club and the community. Emma served as Ames High School Key Club Editor / Historian during the 2018-2019 school year and volunteered at numerous club projects and events. Kiwanis Advisor Randy Griffith, right, made the presentation at a recent meeting on behalf of the Ames Town & Country Kiwanis Club. Emma will enter Iowa State University in the fall, pursuing a double major in Animal Ecology and Spanish. Emma’s parents are Dennis and Cheryl Todey, and they also attended the presentation of the award. Ames High School Key Club is sponsored by the Ames T & C Kiwanis Club.
